Hi! My name is Jackie! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #117538, who uses various modalities according to the needs of the individual, I am bilingual and can facilitate session fluently in Spanish.

 

By the way I am also a Veteran of the United States Navy, I served in Operation Deep Freeze and I understand military culture, the challenges during service and the transition to civilian life. I have experience working with all age groups and I absolutely enjoy working with children and adolescents using ART as a tool to facilitate sessions. ART helps individuals channel emotions when words are not easy to express, certain art techniques can help reduce anxiety, ART is also great to promote positive self-esteem. I continue to expand my knowledge base to serve my community and am currently working on a Doctor of Education degree in Community Counseling, specializing in trauma.
